Ranking and fair play rules

Why there are rules

The ranking is only fun if everyone's number is their own. These rules apply to everyone, and are part of the terms of use.

XP belongs to those who use the guide

• XP comes from marking, in the guide, the step, item and trophy while you play.
• Trophies imported from Steam or PlayStation never give XP: they go into the platform stats, not Firekeeper XP.
• Marking everything at once, without playing, to level up is abuse. So is marking and unmarking the same thing to test the system, or automating marks.
• Marking at once what you had already done before finding Firekeeper isn't cheating: the automatic signal may hold that XP, and a moderator releases it after taking a look.

Platform trophies and achievements

Only trophies you earned by playing, on your own account, count in the platform ranking. These don't count:

• trophy or achievement unlockers (like Steam Achievement Manager), cheats and edited saves;
• shared accounts, or trophies earned by someone else on your account;
• a PSN account that isn't yours: that's why we ask for proof in "About me".

Some signals mark a game as suspicious on their own, for example every achievement in the same second, or the platinum before the rest of the base game. A suspicious game leaves the ranking stats until a person looks at it.

What moderation can do

1. Hold XP, which stays out of the ranking (you still see yours). It's automatic, and that's the only automatic part.
2. Remove the account from the ranking, which keeps using the guides normally.
3. Ban the account: its sessions end, the public profile goes offline, and it can't sign in anymore.

Removing from the ranking and banning are always a person's decision, with the reason recorded. What moderation records about you goes along with your data export.

Appeal

If you think there was a mistake, write to contato@firekeeper.gg with your @. The decision can be reviewed, and held XP is released when there was no abuse.

Respect

The ranking is for comparing, not for chasing people. Mass friend requests, harassment and offensive names also lead to the measures above. You can block any account on the friends page.
