Summary

• Reading the guides needs no account, and a content page sets no cookie at all.
• With an account, we keep your e-mail, your display name and your progress. Nothing else.
• We do not sell data, show ads, or track you across sites.

What we keep

• Without an account: your progress stays on your device only, in the browser's storage. It never reaches our server.
• With an account: e-mail, display name, a hash of your password (never the password itself), the progress you mark, and the XP computed from it.
• Session: one session cookie, needed to keep you signed in. It is only created when you sign in.
• Analytics: only if you accept, in the notice shown on your first visit. Without consent, nothing is collected.

What we use it for

To show your progress on any device, compute your level, and send the e-mails an account requires: address confirmation and password recovery. We send no marketing e-mail.

Who we share it with

Only the services that make the product work, and only what each one needs: site hosting (Vercel), database (Neon), images (Amazon Web Services), e-mail delivery (Resend) and, if you accept, usage analytics (PostHog).

Your rights

You can export everything we keep about you and delete your account, at any time, from your profile page. Deletion really removes your data; it does not just deactivate the account. Under the GDPR and Brazil's LGPD you can also ask for correction or information through the contact below.

Children

Firekeeper is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
